The Windowsill Used & New Books

We Are Open for Business!

Updated 3/20/21

I am still taking this virus very seriously.   Here's what I'm doing to keep you safe:

  • Sanitizing surfaces, door handles, locks, keyboards, pens, etc.

  • Appointments are available for seniors and those who are immunocompromised.

  •  Sanitizing station has been set up for you.

  • Placing your order into a new bag.

  • A sneeze guard is in place around the staff checkout area.

  • Hands will be washed frequently and sanitized between washings.

  • Masks will be worn outside of the checkout area.

  • Empty book carts will be placed around the store for you to place items that have been touched.  They will be sanitized and reshelved.

  • If you have books to turn in for credit, I will be quarantining them for one week. You will not be able to use credit for those books until they are inventoried. Please bring books in a bag that you don't want returned. I will not accept them if they need to be transferred into another bag.

When the store can open here are a few measures you must be willing to take:
  • You will be required to sanitize your hands when you come in.

  • Everyone will be required to wear an approved mask in the store.  Masks must be appropriately worn over your nose and mouth.  This is still important even when you have been fully vaccinated.  As mandates are lifted, we will loosen our requirements.

  • The credit card reader will be sanitized after every use.  Pens will be sanitized if signatures are needed.

  • You will be required to practice social distancing (6 feet from others).

If you have any other suggestions, let me know. I would love to hear them.

As always, thank you for your business!
